Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and necessary repairs
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform service and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours
- Assist in repair and restoration projects as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
- Follow safety protocols while working in the shop environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry and/or automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with various home and automotive systems
- Experience with 12V Electrical troubleshooting and repair is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for vehicle maintenance tasks
- Previous experience is preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of home and automotive principles
