We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential and comm sites. <Duties>
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work on construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Conduct testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering strictly to safety protocols for each voltage level.
- Collaborate with construction teams including frame carpenters and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for compliance and future reference.
- Follow schematics and technical instructions meticulously to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, NEC guidelines, and local building codes for safe operations on construction sites.
- Assist in training apprentices or junior electricians as needed while fostering a safe working environment.
<Qualifications>
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial/ residential settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical wiring projects.
- Proficiency with testing instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with low voltage (such as communication or security systems) and high voltage (power distribution) electrical work.
- Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safe installation practices.
- Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong blueprint reading skills coupled with schematics comprehension for accurate system installation or troubleshooting.
- Experience working on construction projects involving frame carpentry or related trades is a plus but not required.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
