As a Teacher, you will:

Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.

Support children's social-emotional development and guide behavior in a positive manner.

Observe children's growth and communicate important information with families and leadership.

Participate in meals, outdoor play, and daily routines alongside the children.

Help children develop independence through everyday tasks such as self-care, hygiene, and problem-solving.

Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that meets all licensing requirements.

Communicate professionally with families through conversations, written communication, and our classroom management systems.

Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and support staff to create a positive team environment.

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

Previous experience working with young children in a preschool, childcare, or educational setting preferred.

Ability to meet all Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) requirements.

Willingness to complete required professional development and ongoing training.
This position requires the ability to:

Lift and carry children and classroom materials up to 40 pounds.

Sit, stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently throughout the day.

Participate in indoor and outdoor activities in various weather conditions.

Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
