Member Duties : Applicants for a VISTA Leader position must have successfully completed a full service term as either a VISTA, NCCC or AmeriCorps State/National Member or a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. The VISTA will take a lead role in helping with the recruitment, training, orientation, offboarding, and general administrative support for CAN's 13+ VISTAs as well as 25+ VISTA Summer Associates. This VISTA will co-lead a thorough orientation that familiarizes VISTA staff with CAN's policies, procedures, curriculum, and key tools to be successful. This VISTA will create and implement new training modules tailored to the unique needs of CAN's VISTA staff. After training is complete, the VISTA will work on institutionalizing these trainings so that they can be reused during the next orientation.
