Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI II or TCI III)
The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. - hiring a Transportation Construction Inspector I (TCI II or TCI III) for the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of roadway and bridge construction
- Testing of soils, concrete and bituminous paving
- Calculating quantities for estimate payments
- Completing Project Site Activity reports
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
Experience:
- PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, or related construction inspection experience preferred.
- Experience with structures, roadway, drainage and traffic control preferred.
License/Certification:
- NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation (Preferred)
- PennDOT Certified Concrete Field Technician (Preferred)
- NECEPT-Bituminous and ACI/PennDOT Concrete (Preferred)
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade 1 (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, night work possible

Pay: $30.24 - $33.03 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
