Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic . Unique role with a private fleet. Work on there own and perform maintenance on company fleet and oversee building and grounds. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working on tractor trailers.
Duties
- Maintain clean and organized work area and keep bay clean
- Engine, mechanical, electrical and truck and trailer work and repair.
- Schedule AMs and PMs on equipment
- Oversee building and grounds
- Brakes and Transmission
- Suspension components
- Diagnose and repair:
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Communicate repair timeline and needs to fleet leadership
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Vocational or technical training in diesel (preferred)
- Valid Driver License and or CDL
- Have tools (shop has some)
- Trailer experience a plus
- 1-year verified tractor trailer experience.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
