Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Part-Time Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our innovative skincare and aesthetic medicine team. In this role, you will leverage your advanced nursing skills to deliver exceptional aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and laser therapies. Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and skin evaluations to determine suitable treatment plans.
- Educate clients on procedure options, post-treatment care, and realistic outcomes to foster trust and satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop customized treatment plans that align with each client’s aesthetic goals and health considerations.
- Assist in clinic operations by managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, and ensuring sterile processing of equipment.
- Stay current with industry advancements in aesthetic medicine, including new laser technologies and injectable techniques, to provide innovative care.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license with certification in aesthetics or relevant specialty training preferred.
- Proven experience performing botulinum toxin injections and dermal filler procedures; esthetic laser treatment experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for accurate documentation.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse populations.
- Experience working in medical offices specializing in dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic medicine is advantageous.
- Knowledge of CPT coding for aesthetic procedures and understanding of HIPAA compliance standards.
