Position: Clinical Supervisor
Role Overview
A growing behavioral health organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and clinical direction to a multidisciplinary treatment team.
The Clinical Supervisor works closely with operational leadership while serving as a clinical resource for complex cases, compliance matters, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to licensed clinicians and behavioral health staff across assigned programs
- Offer day-to-day consultation, guidance, and oversight to ensure high-quality, client-focused treatment
- Review clinical documentation, treatment plans, and case notes to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance
- Facilitate case consultations and support staff with complex or high-risk clinical situations
- Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations, licensure standards, HIPAA requirements, and accreditation guidelines
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate clinical team members to promote professional growth and accountability
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of clinical staff
- Track and evaluate clinical outcomes and performance indicators; support corrective action plans as needed
- Collaborate with leadership and quality teams to improve service delivery and client engagement
- Stay informed on best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes within behavioral health
- Participate in crisis response and provide clinical direction when required
- Complete additional duties aligned with program needs
Work Setting & Schedule
- Primarily based on-site at assigned treatment locations
- Travel between sites required (up to 50%, depending on coverage needs)
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be necessary
- Periodic travel for meetings, trainings, or staff support
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Independent clinical license in Ohio (LISW, LPCC, or equivalent), active and in good standing
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and active auto insurance
- Successful completion of background checks, compliance screenings, and pre-employment drug testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, and co-occurring disorders
- Prior supervisory, leadership, or management experience in a clinical setting (3+ years preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of electronic health records and clinical documentation standards
Pay: $67,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
