We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in La Verne, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires strong inspection experience within a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined parts and materials Verify product conformance using blueprints, specifications, and quality standards Complete and maintain inspection reports, process tags, and non-conformance documentation Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production staff to ensure product accuracy and process compliance Inspect production procedures and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards Identify quality issues and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Utilize precision measuring and inspection instruments accurately Maintain organized quality records and documentation Support ISO and AS quality compliance requirements
Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints for precision machined parts Strong understanding of GD&T, specifications, symbols, and inspection procedures Experience using inspection equipment including Micrometers Vernier calipers Dial indicators Height gauges Thread gauges Bore gauges ID/OD micrometers Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and reporting abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel Ability to work independently and in a team environment Familiarity with ISO and AS standards preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with machinists and engineering teams Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and continuous improvement processes Ability to learn and use company-specific software system
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
