Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an enjoyable experience
- Operate POS systems such as Jonas, Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to prevent over-serving
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including billing and change distribution
- Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring timely service
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety regulations to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Jonas, Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests effectively
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements and company policies
- Experience with catering or food service operations is a plus
- Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality industry trends is advantageous
