Role Description This is a full-time Salesperson role. The Salesperson will identify and pursue new roofing and reconstruction sales opportunities through lead generation, referrals, and neighborhood outreach. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with customers at their properties, assessing needs, explaining services, and delivering clear proposals and estimates. The role involves following up on leads, managing a sales pipeline, coordinating with project managers and office staff, and maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM or tracking tools. The Salesperson will also represent the company at local events (as needed), maintain ongoing relationships with clients, and ensure a professional, trustworthy presence in the community.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in customer-facing sales, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing deals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and explain technical information clearly
- Basic understanding of construction or roofing services, or a willingness to learn industry-specific knowledge
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups
- Comfort working on-site at customer properties, including conducting exterior inspections when needed
- Comfortability using a ladder
- Proficiency with common digital tools (email, Google Calendar, CRM software) for tracking leads and updating records
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or sales training is a plus
- Previous experience in roofing, construction, home services, or field sales is preferred but not required
