Position Overview: EnRUD Resources, Inc. is hiring a full-time Environmental Field-Testing Technician to perform emissions and environmental testing at client sites. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who enjoy outdoor work, regional travel, and hands-on technical responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site emissions and environmental field testing using established methods and procedures.
- Transport, set up, operate, and dismantle testing equipment at client locations.
- Collect, recover, and document samples accurately and in compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical testing systems.
- Work safely and professionally in outdoor field environments and at customer sites.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate tools and field equipment with a high degree of dexterity.
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color for safety-related tasks.
- Passing a pre-employment and random drug screens.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in environmental science, engineering, mechanical disciplines, or a related field preferred.
- Related experience in environmental sampling, construction, mechanical, or electrical work preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe products preferred.
Compensation and Benefits: Starting pay for this entry-level position is $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include overtime and quarterly bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, paid travel and per diem, and employee support.
