About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory Manager to join our team in person at our Austin, TX facility. In this role, you will own inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and stockroom operations across MSL-controlled, ESD-sensitive, and ITAR-segregated materials, working closely with Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Quality. You will lead our ECI and counter integration coordination, drive our label rollout, and train and backup the floor team on new standard work. This is a strong opportunity for a materials/inventory professional who wants ownership over both day-to-day accuracy and a hands-on systems-improvement project.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily reconciliation, cycle counts, the location and part master, and overall record accuracy
- Coordinate ECI, the counter integration, and the label rollout
- Train and backup the floor team on new standard work
- Manage stockroom operations and lead stockroom staff
- Maintain MSL compliance for moisture-sensitive component storage
- Reconcile E2 inventory records against physical counts; resolve kit sheet discrepancies before they hit production
- Coordinate with planning/purchasing on stock-to-job allocation and long-lead item tracking
Preferred but not Required
- Manage ITAR-segregated inventory controls and badge-access material handling
- Own tape-and-reel inventory organization and traceability
- Experience training/onboarding floor staff on new standard work
Qualifications
- 3+ years inventory/materials management, ideally in electronics manufacturing
- ERP experience (E2/JD Edwards or similar) required
- Understanding of ESD handling, MSL levels, and lot traceability
- Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting
- ITAR familiarity a plus; U.S. person status required if handling ITAR materials
