Pur & Simple, a bustling brunch restaurant in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a meticulous and reliable Janitor to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards after our 3:00 PM closing. The ideal candidate will ensure our restaurant remains pristine, hygienic, and welcoming for guests and staff, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a spotless environment in a vibrant brunch setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Floors: Sweep, mop, and polish all floor surfaces to a spotless condition, ensuring no streaks, stains, or debris remain.

Bathrooms: Thoroughly clean and disinfect all restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Restock supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper) and ensure a hygienic, odor-free environment.

Windows: Clean interior and exterior windows and glass surfaces to a streak-free finish, maintaining a crystal-clear appearance.

Walls: Spot-clean walls, baseboards, and other surfaces to remove smudges, marks, or stains, ensuring a polished look throughout the restaurant.

General Cleaning: Dust and wipe down surfaces, empty trash bins, and ensure all areas meet rigorous hygiene standards.

Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to restaurant policies.

Reporting: Notify management of any maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant or commercial setting.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining very high cleanliness standards.

Ability to work independently and efficiently during afternoon/evening hours (3:30 PM - 7:30 PM).

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.

Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Reliable transportation to and from work in San Antonio, TX.
