About the Role
At Mathnasium, we transform lives through math education. As our Assistant Center Director, you won't just be behind a desk—you’ll be driving center culture, engaging with families, managing daily operations, and leading student instruction.
This role is designed as a leadership runway. You will work side-by-side with center leadership to master center management, customer relations, team development, and business growth, positioning you directly for promotion to Center Director.
Key Responsibilities
1. Family Engagement & Sales Growth
First Impressions & Consultations: Greet visiting families, deliver enthusiastic center tours, and conduct parent orientation meetings.
Lead Conversion: Warmly follow up with prospective family leads via phone and email to schedule assessments and enroll new students.
Student Retention: Build strong relationships with current parents through frequent, proactive communication about student progress and milestones.
2. Center Operations & Detail Management
Assessment & Learning Plans: Administer initial diagnostic assessments, process results through Mathnasium’s proprietary software, and help construct customized learning plans for students.
Logistics & Scheduling: Oversee student check-ins, manage instructor work schedules, and maintain smooth session flow during peak after-school hours.
Administrative Excellence: Ensure accurate and up to date regarding billing status, attendance records, and student profiles.
3. Team Mentorship & Instructional Quality
Instructor Coaching: Assist in leading, evaluating, and motivating a team of math instructors to ensure they deliver high quality, engaging instruction aligned with the Mathnasium Method.
Floor Leadership: Step onto the instruction floor during peak times to coach students, maintain a upbeat learning environment, and ensure safety standards.
