Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets utilizing project management tools and techniques.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
- Conduct geotechnical assessments and analyze soil stability to inform foundation and system design.
- Oversee construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping of project sites.
- Perform construction estimating to determine project costs accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with land surveyors for precise site measurements and system layout planning.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project proposals with clarity and precision through technical writing skills.
- Manage project schedules using Project scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers on system integration aspects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license required.
- Proven experience with construction management, project engineering, and construction inspection processes in Arizona for at least three years.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with system design standards for pipelines, schematics, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, proposals, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and team members. Pay: $75,226.37 - $105,595.19 per year
