SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts..
Starting salary is $55.39/hr with 5 annual incremental increases to $70.86/hr plus benefits

Benefit allowance: up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58/2-party, $2,044.58/family
As a member of our Infant Development Program, the Physical/Occupational Therapist provides assessment, evaluation, service coordination, consultation, and direct therapy services to infants, toddlers, and their families. Under general direction, the therapist collaborates with families, care providers, and the transdisciplinary team to support developmental outcomes in motor, adaptive, and sensory skills. Responsibilities include planning and conducting home visits, developing individualized family service plan (IFSP) goals, coordinating services, providing equipment recommendations, preparing reports, and maintaining communication with families and community agencies.
Qualified candidates will possess an appropriate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and hold a valid California OT/PT license or certification. Experience working with infants and toddlers who have developmental disabilities or delays is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of early childhood development, evidence-based pediatric therapy practices, adaptive equipment, and relevant educational, medical, and community resources. Proficiency in maintaining case records, conducting assessments, developing interventions, and communicating effectively with families, staff, and community agencies is essential. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
