Position 2: 3p-11p Week 1: Thurs, Fri, Sat Sun; Week 2: Mon
Residential Support Staff (RSS) work directly with individuals with mental health diagnoses to assist in the development of appropriate social, interpersonal, money management, housekeeping, hygiene, dietary, and other skills of daily living so that they can live as independently as possible in the community. RSSs participate in the development and implementation of each individual's treatment plan while assisting in the management of the symptoms of their mental illness. They also assist in the daily operation of and care for the residence to maintain a healthy and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 12 semester hours of college training in a mental illness related field
- OR -
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 month of formal training in mental illness or related field.
- Valid driver's license
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
