Position Summary
ReThink Microschools is seeking a compassionate, student-centered Assistant Principal to help lead our campus for students in Grades 1–12. This position supports the Principal in providing high-quality instruction, coaching teachers, fostering a positive school culture, partnering with families, and ensuring the daily operations of the school run smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Leadership
- Coach and support teachers through classroom observations and instructional feedback.
- Promote high-quality, individualized instruction for neurodivergent learners.
- Monitor student progress and help improve academic outcomes.
- Lead professional development and encourage continuous growth.
Student & Family Support
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture.
- Partner with families to support student success.
- Assist with student behavior, attendance, and social-emotional development.
- Participate in campus tours and enrollment meetings with prospective families.
Campus Operations
- Support the day-to-day operation of the school.
- Help supervise staff, students, and campus activities.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety procedures.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and special events.
Leadership
- Collaborate with the Principal to achieve school goals.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Model professionalism, integrity, and a growth mindset.
- Help recruit, mentor, and retain exceptional educators.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate.
- Arizona Administrator Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Preferred
- Experience working with autistic or other neurodivergent learners.
- Experience coaching teachers or serving in a school leadership role.
- Knowledge of personalized learning and inclusive instructional practices.
