Construction Manager –Hospitality & Real Estate Development
Jaindl is seeking an experienced Construction Manager with experience in Hospitality & General Real Estate Development Projects to join and expand our existing construction team. This individual will play a key role in the development of Jaindl Real Estate Projects.
Approximately 50% of the position will initially be focused on Hospitality projects, with the balance supporting projects across our general real estate development activities which could include retail, medical office, golf, agricultural, beverage and real estate operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage design and preconstruction through construction, opening and closeout.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, contractors and specialty vendors.
- Manage and monitor project budgets, schedules, bidding, contracts and change orders.
- Review drawings and specifications for constructability, cost and value-engineering opportunities.
- Monitor construction progress, quality and adherence to the project's high-end design standards.
- Assist with contractor selection, negotiations and procurement.
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve construction and coordination issues.
- Support renovations, expansions and other capital projects throughout the Jaindl portfolio.
- Work closely with ownership and the existing construction team on project priorities and execution.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of construction management or project management experience.
- Experience managing projects from design through construction and completion.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, schedules, drawings, contracts and change orders.
- Hotel, resort, hospitality or other high-end construction experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with ownership, consultants and contractors.
