Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated worker to join our team. As a Bagel Baker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Daily Baking. Shift starts at 4AM everyday. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain Marx's great quality and cleanliness of the baking areas while adhering to food safety regulations and company guidelines. We do require 1 Weekend day.
Duties:
- Safely handle and store food products in the freezer/cooler
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of bagels during the shift
- Operate deck oven and kettle bath for baking
- keep work area clean and tidy
- Follow FDA regulations and HACCP guidelines for food storage and handling
- Assist in quality control procedures to uphold food safety standards
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with oven/kettle equipment
- Produce and Bake Bagels
Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess:
- Experience in food baking or a similar environment
- Knowledge of food handling practices in a restaraunt enviroment
- Proficiency in multitasking techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
