Responsibilities

- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support catering events and special dining occasions with creative meal presentation and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate specific dietary restrictions or preferences
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary or food service roles, preferably within a dietary department or healthcare setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining is highly desirable
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting
- Prior restaurant or culinary industry experience is a plus
