Manufacturing, machine operation, production, or press operation experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand work orders and production instructions.

Basic shop math skills, including measurements, tolerances, counting, ratios, and percentages.

Ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches, knives, hammers, and pliers.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Ability to remain attentive to assigned machinery while it is operating.

Ability to follow safety, quality, ISO, and production procedures.

Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when production requires.
The Rubber Press Operator is responsible for preparing materials and operating rubber press equipment to produce quality parts according to work orders, specifications, and established tolerances. This position will cut, mill, and press rubber materials while monitoring equipment throughout the production process. The operator is responsible for meeting production goals, maintaining accurate production records, performing quality checks, and safely operating assigned equipment.

Verify materials match the work order before beginning production.

Cut, mill, and press rubber materials according to job specifications.

Read work orders to determine required materials, dimensions, specifications, and tolerances.

Set up and operate assigned rubber press equipment.

Closely monitor machinery while it is running to prevent scrap, equipment damage, and safety hazards.

Inspect pressed parts for quality and accuracy throughout the production process.

Meet established production output goals while maintaining quality standards.

Maintain accurate production and job records.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned machinery with assistance as needed.

Report equipment problems or maintenance needs that are beyond the operator's ability to the manager or lead.

Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures.

Follow company policies, department SOPs, quality procedures, ISO procedures, and other written or verbal instructions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
