Our company is looking for an experienced Forklift/Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Candidates must possess minimum 3 years experience working on forklifts or heavy equipment.
***Candidates must have strong electrical understanding and have an ability to troubleshoot faulty systems, and be able to use proper electrical diagnostic tools such as Power Probe or Multimeters to trace out faults, test sensors, test relays, and be able to read wire diagrams. An understanding of CAN BUS type systems, multiple Computer controlled components such as Transmission Computers, Engine ECM's, Hydraulic Computers.****
Must have knowledge of hydraulics and the ability to repair hoses, cylinders, and maintain awareness for safety and repair procedures.
Knowledge of fuel systems such as LPG Fuel, Diesel, and Gasoline is required.
Candidates must have own tools.
Large and specialty tools are provided by the company.
Candidates must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.
As a forklift/ industrial equipment mechanic you need physical dexterity and endurance to perform repetitive tasks throughout the day. In this position, you will be exposed to situations that may be dusty or noisy, outdoors, and in shops.
