Position Summary
This is a high-energy sales and coaching position responsible for generating appointments, conducting athlete assessments, and converting prospects into long-term members.
The ideal candidate is comfortable making 75-100 outbound calls per day, handling inbound inquiries, performing movement assessments, recommending the appropriate training solution, and closing memberships and personal training packages. This is a position that requires comfortability with organic lead generation, and requires 150+ new leads per month generated via community outreach and organic marketing.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in fitness sales, personal training, or performance coaching who enjoys both coaching and selling.
Compensation: Salary + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls daily to new and existing leads
- Respond quickly to inbound inquiries with a strong focus on speed-to-lead
- Generate 150+ new organic leads per month
- Engage in 2-3 hours of community outreach per day outside the facility and participate in community events
- Book free trials and performance assessments
- Conduct athlete and adult performance assessments
- Recommend the appropriate membership and personal training solution based on goals
- Close memberships and high-ticket personal training packages both over the phone and in person
- Follow up consistently with prospects through the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and client communication
- Build relationships with members and prospects to maximize retention and referrals
Qualifications
- Fitness sales experience required (gym memberships, personal training, wellness, or related industry)
- Experience selling personal training packages or high-ticket fitness services strongly preferred
- Comfortable making 75-100+ outbound calls daily
- Comfortable with organic marketing and lead generation
- Proven ability to close sales both over the phone and face-to-face
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High-energy, self-motivated, and competitive personality
- Passion for fitness and helping people achieve their goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal Trainer Certification preferred
- Experience with lead generation, KPI tracking, and organic outreach
