What You'll Do
Prepare fragrance compounds in alcohol and other applications to support fragrance profiles and product development.
Compound formulas for perfumers and application sample requests with exceptional precision.
Prepare product samples for clients and internal departments, including Perfumery, Marketing, Evaluation, Sensory, and proactive development projects.
Work directly with perfumers to maintain an efficient workflow while anticipating and prioritizing daily laboratory needs.
Maintain an adequate inventory of raw materials required for product manufacturing and laboratory activities.
Prepare reports and documentation that support the timely completion of fragrance profiles.
Develop laboratory demonstrations and application samples for ancillary products.
Maintain detailed, organized laboratory notebooks documenting sample preparation and laboratory activities.
Follow all laboratory safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and execute all required quality processes.
Remain accountable for responsibilities outlined within ISO 9001 process flows.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
College coursework in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant laboratory experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.

Previous laboratory experience, preferably within the fragrance, flavor, cosmetic, chemical, or consumer products industry.

Regular exposure to fragrance materials and laboratory chemicals.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to stand, bend, sit, and perform repetitive laboratory tasks.
Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds as needed.
