Role Overview
BEPC is seeking a Medical Device Assembler to join our client's manufacturing team in Temecula, CA. This position is responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of manufacturing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform precision assembly work using microscopes and hand tools. This role offers an opportunity to support the production of life-changing medical devices in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble medical device components following established manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Perform precision assembly using microscopes, hand tools, and specialized equipment.
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Follow all manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and records.
- Identify and report quality or production issues.
- Utilize measuring devices and manufacturing tools as required.
- Support production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support team objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience required.
- Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Experience using microscopes or willingness to work under a microscope.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to follow written procedures and participate in instructor-led training.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and manipulate small components.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to bend, squat, twist, climb, crawl, push, and pull as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must successfully pass an eye examination and color vision test.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical device manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing precision assembly or inspection work.
- Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing documentation.
