Description:
The Pipefitter will install industrial refrigeration system piping at various customer locations. Must be able to layout pipe from flow diagrams generated by the RD&S Engineering Department per IIAR standards, and follow instructions from RD&S Field Supervisors in order to assist in portions of various Projects.
Requirements:
- Understand and properly interpret flow diagrams and layout drawings

Ability to properly fit up refrigeration, water and glycol pipe

Working knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Excel, word, email, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD a plus

Report and resolve discrepancies in the drawings to RD&S engineering department and Director of Construction

Ensure all material specifications for equipment, pipe and other materials are being followed.

Ability to visualize final pipe path and layout accordingly per IIAR pipe standards

Must travel as required and stay out of town on a job up to 10 days, occasionally longer. (out of town not a constant, but on occasion)
