American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florence, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

Labor and Delivery unit located on the 3rd floor of a hospital
-
9-bed L&D unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
-
Adult patient population with diagnoses including normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage

Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Every other weekend required

Floating to postpartum required

EHR systems: Centricity and Meditech
-
13-week contract
-
Active AL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, and ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, and EFM

Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience required

Proficiency in fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care, and time management

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Candidates must wear ceil blue scrubs; scrubs with slogans, graphics, offensive content, or non-compliant colors are not permitted

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
