Certified Medical Assistant - Primary Care (Temp-to-Hire) Overview
- This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity — candidates must be open to converting to a permanent staff position
- Permanent pay rate upon conversion is approximately $21.00-$22.00 per hour
- Program: Local Contract Allied Health
Location
- Primary Care clinic in Limerick, PA
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Interview Process
- Virtual, on-camera interview conducted via Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Phlebotomy (lab is onsite)
- Patient calls
- Booking appointments
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification is required
- Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred
- Experience with EPIC is a plus for this practice
Training
- 5-hour EMR training on a Friday prior to the start date
- 15-minute HIPAA training module
Compliance Requirements
- Compliance documentation is due the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not begin compliance requirements within 72 hours are at risk of having the contract cancelled
