Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, food items, and beverages with precision and care
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic retail math to ensure correct payments and change
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
- Keep the café clean, organized, and well-stocked by performing food prep, restocking supplies, and adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in managing time efficiently during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista or coffee experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with serving, food preparation, and food industry operations is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
