Job Title: Front Desk Agent/Night Audit
Job Overview:
As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent sets the tone for memorable stays with warm welcomes, efficient check-ins, and personalized service. This role is central to creating an inviting experience, whether through providing tailored local insights, handling transactions smoothly, or addressing guest needs promptly. ** WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED.
** Open availability is preferred for all shifts, as all Agents are subject to the night audit (graveyard shift).
Shift Requirements:
Morning 7AM-3PM
Afternoon 3PM-11PM
Overnight 11PM-7AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and assist with reservations, payments, and billing.
- Offer valuable local insights and tailored recommendations to help guests make the most of their stay.
- Recognize Wyndham Rewards members and returning guests, ensuring they feel appreciated and valued.
- Keep guests informed about hotel facilities, room options, amenities, rates, and payment methods.
- Manage reservations via phone and online, ensuring accurate records and a smooth booking experience.
- Work closely with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, organized, and fully prepared.
- Address guest feedback and resolve any issues with a problem-solving approach.
- Upsell additional facilities and services as appropriate to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date records of bookings, room statuses, and payments.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Prior experience in a hotel front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Tech-savvy, with basic proficiency in reading, writing, math, and computer use.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling you to turn challenges into positive guest experiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hotel management is a plus.
