American Laundry Equipment, a family-owned business serving New England for over 80 years, is looking for a dependable and mechanically savvy Field Service Technician to service commercial washing machines and dryers at our customer locations, including laundromats and multi-family residential laundry facilities. The Field Service Technician will be provided with a company van and work independently to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete preventative maintenance on washers, dryers, and related equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to daily service calls at customer locations
- Diagnose and repair commercial laundry equipment issues, replace parts as needed, etc.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers
- Occasional support of other company projects such as installations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of appliance repair and/or auto repair experience required
- Previous experience repairing commercial laundry equipment strongly preferred
- General knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently
- Reliable, with strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
