Worship Pastor Job Description
Northside Christian Church
Introduction:As a member of our pastoral staff, the Worship Pastor will apply his or her gifts and skills to help Northside Christian Church fulfill its mission of making disciples. The primary focus of this position is worship leadership. Key responsibilities will be to recruit and develop volunteers in all areas of the worship ministry – including musicians, vocalists, sound technicians, and computer technicians.
As this is a part-time position, hours will be discussed and agreed to with Sr. Pastor, but will include Sunday morning, worship rehearsal, and a weekly conversation with the Sr. Pastor for updates.

-Model a meaningful and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
-Engage in regular and ongoing accountability with the elders and staff.
-Cultivate personal relationships.
-Continued discipleship of worship arts team.
Necessary Skills:
-Proficient in Pro Presenter
-Proficient in Planning Center
-Proficient with making/using worship tracks
-Understand sound board
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Plan and implement worship elements for Sunday services.
-Schedule band, vocalists, and tech crew at least 2 weeks out.
-Coordinate service elements with Sr. Pastor and staff.
-Lead weekly Worship Team rehearsal in preparation for Sunday services.
-Periodic set design.
Occasional Duties:
-Organize special worship events, such as Worship in the Park, Christmas Eve.
-Additional projects as agreed to with Sr. Pastor.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per month
