Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional design, learning technology, and differentiated teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through classroom management techniques, behavioral therapy, and behavior management strategies to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, visual impairments, or other special education requirements.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that set clear goals for student progress.
- Utilize assessment tools such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate speech therapy, music therapy, recreational therapy, or behavioral health techniques when appropriate to enhance learning outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students’ social-emotional well-being and academic growth.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, preschool experience, Montessori methods, or early intervention practices.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress reports, IEP documentation, and behavioral observations in compliance with educational standards.
Skills
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education settings.
- Knowledge of learning technology tools and instructional design principles to enhance classroom engagement.
- Experience working with children with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays; familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a plus.
- Classroom experience managing diverse learners in private school environments or inclusive settings.
- Ability to implement behavioral health strategies and behavioral therapy techniques effectively within the classroom context.
- Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services as part of a well-rounded curriculum.
- Skills in proofreading educational materials and preparing students for standardized testing scenarios.
- Compassionate approach to child welfare, childcare practices, toddler care, preschool activities, and early intervention programs.

Pay: $24.90 - $29.98 per hour
