We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will manage comprehensive bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support our clients’ financial health and contribute to the continued success of our firm. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
- Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to maintain precise financial data
- Oversee payroll management using systems like ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, or Ceridian, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Assist with tax preparation support by organizing financial data and supporting documentation
- Conduct data entry with high accuracy, utilizing 10-key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping techniques
Experience
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within public accounting or corporate finance environments
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts including general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, debits & credits, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Workday, Kronos, UltiPro, ADP, Ceridian or similar platforms
- Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account reconciliation
- Ability to interpret financial data confidently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity
