As a DIALYSIS FACILITY ADMINSTATOR, your day runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional on-call coverage for weekends or urgent issues. You’ll start by reviewing the day’s census, staffing coverage, and any overnight notes, then touch base with charge staff and providers. Much of the day is spent moving between the floor and the office—checking dashboards in the dialysis EMR, confirming documentation is audit-ready, and addressing patient or family questions promptly. You’ll also take time for brief huddles, quick coaching moments, and follow-ups on action items, ending the day by confirming next-day readiness and escalating any emergent concerns through the on-call process.
