Duties
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through the appointment process with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Explain treatment plans clearly, addressing patient questions and concerns with transparency and confidence
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments, follow-ups, and financial consultations to optimize clinic flow
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with financial arrangements to ensure smooth billing processes
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating treatment notes, medical histories, and billing information diligently
- Collaborate closely with dental practitioners to facilitate seamless communication regarding patient care plans
- Support administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, confirming appointments, and processing payments efficiently
- Contribute to marketing efforts that help create brand awareness and recognition in the community.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of dental terminology to accurately communicate treatment details
- Proven ability to provide exceptional medical administrative support with attention to detail
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and proficiency in scheduling software or electronic health records systems
- Familiarity with dental office operations or experience working directly with dental professionals is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between patients, staff, and insurance providers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
