Job Summary
Our Cafe & Produce Associates are the heart of our front end. You play a major role in how our guests feel in the market and when they leave. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our guests interact with. We are looking for friendly faces to represent Pocono Organics in our Marketplace and Café.
This is a fast pace work environment, especially on weekends and during our meal rush. There are times when you must juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping guests: taking orders, running food, scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area, etc.
Basic Duties
- Taking customers orders and expediting to kitchen staff
- Food running/table bussing
- Perform basic barista duties
- Serving duties
- Operate all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and scales
- Maintain a clean work environment, keeping register clear for incoming customers
- Receiving & Accepting shipments
- Placing out new products & restocking as needed
- Responsible for packaging and rotating produce displays
- Put produce out and away each day
- Stocking Shelves
- Other duties not listed above.
Pay and Hours
Marketplace is open Thursday-Monday from 8-3.
This is a full time position. 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate: starting at $12/hour PLUS tips
