American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Infusion Unit position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring an active CA RN license, Chemotherapy certification, and Epic experience.

Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 426 staffed beds
-
Infusion Unit with a caseload of approximately 70% oncology-based therapy and 30% blood transfusions, IVIG, hydration, and iron infusions

Patient ratio of 1:4

Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)
-
No weekend requirement
-
No on-call requirement
-
Floating between all facilities within California is expected and required

Charting performed in Epic (experience required)

Free parking available on-site

Active CA RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)

Current certifications: BLS and Chemotherapy (Chemo Cert)

Minimum 1 year of infusion nursing experience; 2+ years preferred

Epic EMR experience required

A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted only with an active Chemotherapy certification and 2+ years of experience

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Former permanent employees of the Providence system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility

Refusal to float between facilities within California may result in termination of assignment

RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
-
Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
