We are looking for long term orientated employee's for a full time steel production welding job. This job requires you to work from 6:00 am -- 4:30 pm, Monday -- Thursday as well as optional overtime on Friday from 6 am - 12/noon. You will be lifting heavy pieces of steel, loading table jigs and welding various steel sizes and thicknesses.
Skills and abilities required:
- Operate and adjust MIG wire feed welder.
- Read simple plans.
- Follow verbal instructions well.
- Able to come to work as scheduled and on time.
-Be Able to lift and move up to 50lbs.
Tool operation knowledge requirements:
- MIG wire feed welder.
- Electric sanders.
- Tape measure.
- Overhead crane experience a plus.
- Fork truck operation experience or license a plus. (will be retrained)
Pay and Benefits:
-Starting wage is $23 per hour (includes $3 hr attendance incentive$20+$3=$23) as well as an additional production-based incentive pay on top of hourly wage, ranging from 0-$15+ per hour.
-$1 raise after successful 90-day probationary period.
-Employer 100% paid health, dental, vision, life and accident insurance for the employee after 90 days of full-time employment, currently a $5.50 per hour compensation cost.
-7 (10 hour) paid holidays after 90-day probationary period.
-1 week paid vacation accrued yearly on your hire date anniversary. Increases at certain milestone anniversary dates.
-Up to 6 hours overtime a week available.
