Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced barista with a deep understanding of coffee and a pride in their craft. This role requires someone who can work efficiently, maintain quality, and support both the coffee bar and food preparation areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso drinks with consistency and attention to detail
- Calibrate and dial in espresso machines and grinders daily
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of espresso equipment and workstations
- Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service
- Engage with customers in a welcoming and approachable manner
- Assist with food preparation (sandwiches, paninis, and light kitchen duties)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front and back of house
- Contribute ideas to improve coffee offerings and customer experience
- Follow directions and adhere to shop procedures and standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of barista experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of coffee, espresso extraction, and milk steaming techniques
- Experience with espresso machine calibration and maintenance
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Friendly, sociable, and team-oriented personality
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow instructions
- Ability to support both barista duties and food preparation
