Gutter and Screen Installation Assistant
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Gutter and Screen Installation Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing homes and commercial properties by assisting with the installation of gutters, screens, and related components. Paid training will be provided to ensure you’re equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
Duties
- Assist lead installers in measuring, cutting, and fitting gutters, screens, and trim components according to project specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to install gutters, screens, caulking, and other related fixtures.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment necessary for installation tasks.
- Support the installation of various exterior features such as fascia boards, soffits, and trim carpentry elements.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions for proper placement of gutter systems and screen enclosures.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and construction codes while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics for accurate installation procedures.
- Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus.
- Experience with construction inspection or site assessment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or masonry can enhance your versatility on projects.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team.
