The Financial Analyst 1 supports the Production Reporting function by maintaining production data, preparing recurring reports, and assisting with analysis related to various company products. This position gathers and validates information from internal and external sources, helps ensure reporting accuracy, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis activities.
The role plays an important part in delivering key production metrics and management reporting used by executive leadership to monitor business performance. This position provides a unique opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain direct exposure to executive leadership through recurring management reporting and business review discussions.

The salary range for this role is $55K - $60K.

Prepare, review, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly production reports for management and executive leadership.

Gather and compile data from internal databases, reports, and external sources.

Validate production metrics and investigate unusual trends, variances, and reporting discrepancies.

Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of production reporting data.

Support external and regulatory reporting requirements as needed.

Maintain and update production reporting databases, files, and reporting tools.

Monitor automated reporting feeds and identify, troubleshoot, or escalate data issues.

Document reporting exceptions and assist with resolution efforts.

Participate in testing and validation activities related to new products, reporting enhancements, and process changes.

Develop expertise in company products, metrics, reporting methodologies, and data sources.

Compile historical and current production data used for budgeting and forecasting processes.

Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review.

Validate forecast inputs and maintain reporting models.

Assist with month-end close, planning cycles, and forecasting activities.

Analyze production trends and business drivers to support financial planning efforts.

Support ad hoc reporting requests and special projects.

Research business questions and communicate findings effectively.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Assist in developing analytical insights that support business decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in Excel through coursework, internships, projects, or relevant work experience.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, and data analysis techniques.
