About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to lead and oversee the Company's accounting operations, financial reporting, monthly close process, and internal controls. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, public company reporting experience, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting functions while partnering closely with executive leadership, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all general ledger accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting activities.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare internal financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses for executive leadership.
- Assist with preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other required regulatory reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, advisors, and regulatory examinations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX requirements (when applicable), and company accounting policies.
- Monitor and improve accounting policies, procedures, and processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning initiatives.
- Research and document technical accounting matters and prepare accounting memoranda when necessary.
- Supervise, mentor, and support accounting staff while providing leadership for day-to-day accounting operations.
- Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with an Accounting concentration.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting and/or auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with financial reporting and month-end close processes.
- Experience with public company environments, SEC reporting, PCAOB audits, or SOX compliance strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred), with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CPA license required or strongly preferred.
- Prior public accounting experience with a national, regional, or PCAOB-registered accounting firm highly preferred.
- Experience managing accounting personnel and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP and accounting systems, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
