Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments using hotel management systems such as OPERA.
- Prepare detailed night reports covering occupancy, revenue, and operational issues to inform management decisions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests via phone or in person, ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Handle late-night check-ins and check-outs efficiently while verifying reservations and processing payments accurately.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures confidently during incidents or safety concerns, coordinating with local authorities if necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with front desk teams and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
Skills
- Opera experience highly recommended.
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, with familiarity in front desk functions and guest services.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software such as OPERA, along with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations diplomatically and professionally.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Ability to manage night audit procedures efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and resort experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members across departments seamlessly.
