Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills.
- Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring safety at all times.
- Manage classroom activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and physical activity aligned with Creative Curriculum and Conscious Discipline philosophies.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build trust and partnership.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols.
- Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, and rest periods.
- Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that incorporate developmental milestones.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, literacy education, physical education for young children, and inclusive practices. (Provided on site)
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members using strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining a positive classroom environment focused on child welfare.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
