Job Summary:
The Bottling and Processing Operator position will have a cross-functional operational scope providing exposure to bottling, processing and warehousing operations as needed to support BCS and customer needs. The operator in this role will be participating in the barrel to bottle operations the business dictates are necessary for the support of our brands and our customers. Will work up to 2 days a week in the rickhouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- Packaging finished goods from start to finish with the finished package being held to the high standards of the brand.
- Ensure bottling line is set up with all dry goods needs (bottles, corks/caps, boxes, pallets); move supplies as necessary.
- Operate bottling line equipment including filler, corker, labeler and other line equipment.
- Provide quality control checks to finished goods prior to shipment
- Loading and unloading barrel trucks with palletized and floor loaded barrels
- Rolling and dumping full barrels for processing
- Put away and retrieve full barrels in BCS rick house
- Processing pump and agitation equipment operation
- Forklift certified or willingness to become certified in forklift operation
- Drive a BCS owned or rented box truck as needed
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications/Experience
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 1-3 years of experience working on a bottling or manufacturing/production line preferred.
- Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents; receive and follow instructions
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Understand and follow safety rules including lifting practices, safe machine operation, and sanitary procedures.
- Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Required to push, pull, roll and assist with heading up barrels weighing up to 525 pounds. Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.

- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to consent to a background check post acceptance
- Must be willing to submit to a random drug and alcohol test
Work Day: Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. During peak times, some night or weekend hours may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
