We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated New York State Certified 3K/UPK Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a classroom setting, demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, and be committed to the success of every child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in accordance with NYS standards and guidelines.
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the individual needs of each child.
- Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates on their child's development and progress.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as our policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Strong understanding of child development, early childhood education principles, and the NYS Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and staff.
- Ability to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with NYS standards and guidelines.
- Recent Graduates are welcome and teaching experience in an early education setting is preferred
