Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic child development.
- Lead classroom activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and emotional regulation among children.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff to ensure high-quality instructional practices and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with parents through regular communication about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or special education needs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, child welfare concerns, and classroom activities.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse learning styles and supports children with early intervention or special education requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, demonstrating strong classroom management and child development instruction skills.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, and behavior management techniques tailored for young learners.
- Valid first aid and CPR certification; familiarity with childhood safety protocols is essential. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to lead by example in implementing best practices for daycare experience and preschool teaching while fostering a positive learning environment.
- CDA required or must currently be in the process of obtaining one.
- Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift (ex. 7-5 or 8-6).

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
